Passware Kit 12.5 now scans computers and detects encrypted volumes and hard disk images, such as BitLocker, TrueCrypt, PGP, and others.
The new version also includes an option to create unprotected files automatically when a password is recovered or reset. When batch file processing is complete, unprotected copies of the files are saved in a single folder.
In addition, Passware Kit improves hardware acceleration on AMD ATI cards and is capable of accelerating password recovery for MS Office 2007-2013 documents, Zip and Rar archives, Mac keychain files, Apple DMG images, and iTunes backups by up to 30 times with a single AMD card.

Passware Kit now recovers passwords for hundreds of encrypted files without user interaction. Batch password recovery can now be launched by selecting multiple files at the "Recover File Password" option or directly from Encryption Analyzer scanning results with the list of encrypted items. This automates the encrypted evidence discovery process, saving IT security specialists and computer forensics their time and efforts.
In addition, the new version recovers Windows user login passwords from computer memory in a matter of minutes. It captures live computer memory over FireWire or uses a hibernation file, if available. The process takes a few minutes, regardless of the password strength, which results in the investigator gaining instant and complete control over the suspect’s computer, as well as access to BitLocker and EFS-encrypted files.

Passware Kit now decrypts hard disk images from Mac computers encrypted with FileVault. It acquires a memory image of the running Mac computer over FireWire, then scans it and extracts FileVault encryption keys. With these keys, Passware Kit decrypts the given hard disk image.
The new version also extracts passwords from encrypted Mac keychain files and uses a new Rainbow Tables attack to recover hashed passwords.
