Demo limitations
- Demo version recovers passwords containing no more than 3 characters
- Demo version allows each of the attacks to work for up to 1 minute
Limitations
- Password recovery speed for archives created using RAR 2.9-4.x is very slow - about 10-300 passwords per second on an average PC. Multiple-CPU cores, GPU cards, and Tableau TACC hardware (supported by Passware Kit Enterprise and Forensic editions) accelerate the password recovery speed significantly. For example, a single GPU card provides a recovery speed of 5,000 passwords per second on a RAR 3.x archive.
